Scary reports about NTB!
You might want to think twice prior to doing business here.
I was searching local tire stores for very cheap tires and found this link (http://www.consumeraffairs.com/automotive/...tional_tire.htm).
I am very surprised. I used to buy tires from them when they were NTW and was always satisfied.

NTB went out of business in my area, closed all their stores and are nowhere to be found, that is a benefit to future consumers!
The horror story I had with a simple job of shocks on my Nissan truck still gets me angry when I think about it. We are talking shocks, not rocket science, I was really busy at work and getting ready for a 1,800 mile trip so I thought just drop off the truck and get he job done. No such luck!
Every store is different, but the chain sure screwed me!

These guys cross threaded one of the lug nuts on my miata. The stud had to be cut to remove it. The first time I took the car over there, one of the techs asked if thats a Porche! I should've known better than go there again

I've had two bad experiences since Sears took over. Once, the guy couldn't drive a stick so he asked me to back out my own car but had left a jack underneath. Another time they mounted one of the tires on the Z backwards.
Loved them for years as NTW; wouldn't go back now.

I don't think we have any NTB stores down here in So Cal. At least I haven't seen any. On the other hand, there are a ton of Sears stores here. The only thing I go to Sears for are car batteries.

I just got back from them rotating my truck tires.
In the past..... broke off a stud, then tried to quickly fix it without telling me.... same trip the crushed my rocker panel with the lift and didn't tell me at all.... i noticed a few days later though.
I now know one of the managers so he makes sure everything is done the right way now...at least on my stuff.
