hmm..my quest for martinis has just begun..just mixed one up in a 2-1 mixture:tanqueray and martini and rossi dry vermouth...only name brand vermouth they had available...

results...not so good...prefer gin and tonic to this...we will see bout different combinations of the ingredients.

Made-up a drink on the spot the other night: 2 shot tanqueray, 1 shot sour mix (lemon juice and simple syrup), and about 1 shot tonic water and a splash of grenadine.
