I can't resist.

As one of the senior members on the board I have news for those younger than me. Life can and will be devistating! There are things that will happen to you that are totaly out of your control no matter how "positive" your outlook. We all suffer from a syndrome I have come to label "dillusion of imortality and invulnerability." We believe that no matter what travails we are dealt in life, we will overcome them if we only maintain a "positive attitude." I am sorry to tell you this but there are people who are being devistated by situations far beyond their control even as we type. They have absolutely no control of their plight and are destitute.

Their hope doesn't come from within. They are not capable of saving themselves. If they have hope at all, it is because it came from a source other than themselves. It must come from others. It must come from YOU!

What have YOU done today to help someone else? There are TREMENDOUS opportunities for you to make a difference! All you have to do is open your eyes.
