MugenS2000,

My wife's 2000 TL had sort of the same problem. It was coming from the seat belt latch fastner bolt. I found it by taking the seat belt off and the squeaking would stop. I took it to the dealer that actually had a memo on this.

My refrence to the seat belt latch is refrencing the piece between the seat and the console. It seems to be fastned with a bolt that may need to be tightned a bit.

Hope this helps!

Well, i checked but the sound is coming from the tire/wheel area. I told my sister to get into the drivers seat and she moved around and thats where the sound was coming from. Hope this helps.

Could it be the shock absorber?

Trying pushing down on the top of the wheel arch and see if that gives you the same sound.....

Sounds like uncontrollable farting. Better cut back on the beans for awhile.

I would say it is either the shocks or the springs.

If you push down quite hard and then release quickly the car should come back up and stop. If it "bounces" a bit, then it sounds like the shocks need replacing.
