There are two examples in Nature of which I'm aware which work in contrast to entropy.
There are MANY such systems. They are known as "self-organizing," and typically share mathematical features with critical point phenomena.

In fact, there are something like eight billion examples of complex, ordered, non-equilibrium, self-organizing systems living on this planet right now: humans.
