Tint IS a moving violation in Illinois, IIRC...

EDIT: IIRW. It may be "no front plate" now counts as a moving violation in Illinois. I'm trying to find the link.

There was a thread recently about it. You know the saying, "you gotta pay to play?" Well, you gotta pay to play. The rules are the rules. If you choose to break them willingly, then be prepared to deal with the consequences.

For the record, I hate front plates. But I sport them because "looking cool" isn't worth the hassle of getting pulled over for me.

Wow moving violation there? Holyshit IL is crooked, most states dont even pay attention or just give you a small fine and call it a day.

Ya I knew it was pretty bad, afew times cops have pulled me over I heard this

"Its 60 dollars now, or 240 in court, your choice son" Best part is they told me it was illegal to be doin 10 under the speedlimit during a nice snowstorm, this was their excuse.

In most states both violations would be nothing more than a fix it ticket.
