I'm not a fan of piercings at all. And while we're at it, I don't like chicks that wear a lot of makeup, even a moderate amount is usually too much for me.

If you want one, do it now. . . they don't really fly once you're in your mid-twenties or older (in my opinion, and I'm 26). I dated a girl with a tongue ring once. She was 19 too. It didn't really bother me (aesthetically), but she was in college at the time, so it was socially acceptable. Go for it, you're 19. What the heck, right?

To put it another way, if I met a girl who had recently pierced her tongue and she was 19, I'd think she was cool. If she was 30, I'd think she's sadly renacting her days as a 19-year old. I'm also a shallow bastard, so that may skew the results.
