I agree, you definitely can't be too careful. Better too much care than too little care.
I'm just saying, though, don't structure your vacation around when you get your tattoo done, natedogg. I have numerous tattoos (all black and white, no color) and all I've ever done for them is put on antibiotic ointment (Bacitracin is what I use) and try not to scratch them. I've had them for many years now and they are still crisp and clear. If you get them done on the last day of vacation, then cool, but don't miss out on enjoying Hawaii because of it.

See to me that's like saying good looking guys/girls dont need sports cars. Why is one related to the other? Why cant someone just have some jewellery in their tongue? I dont see it as being any different then having an ear ring or eyebrow ring.
