Top Gear - British TV show
Finalgear.com doesn't seem to be up, so... According to reports, the Stig will be the Stig (flown in for the U.S. taping). The hosts are three people you've probably never heard of.
The show wasn't actually cancelled. The Discovery channel only bought a few shows, with the studio segments re-filmed by the hosts for the US audience. They showed those as a test, then decided to produce their own.

An American version of this would be rubbish, if for no other reason than that it would end up having to be too politically correct. They get away with so many hard slams on so many sub-cultures, this wouldn't be tolerated on American TV. Sure you can show sex and violence, but you can't attack the minorities. Their wittiness and shamelessness towards that end is a big part of what makes the show so engaging.
I'm probably not supposed to say this but wrxfanatics forum has all the 04/05 season episodes hosted. You have to register for the forum but it's free and you can donwload at like 300-400K. Vids are about 300 mb a piece and it doesn't cut back and forth like the crappy discovery channel versions, it's the full 1hr long with no commericals.
I got a 2nd hard drive just to store all the videos
Oh yeah 5th gear vids for season 04/05 are also on there.

You can find a ton of Top Gear segments on Google video, including the S2K vs. Boxster vs. Z4 bit.
