Towing company damaged my car

I got pulled over and told I couldn't drive home by the officer. He called a towing company, and they came out and towed my Miata. Even from the back of the kind officer's squad car..... Away I went to the graybar. An hour later I'm in my friend's car after the officer told me i could go after he'd sufficiently spooked me.....

Well, my lawyer has accepted the case along with the pics of damage and bold print in the owner's manual that indicates to only tow with a flatbed. The case is still in litigation. True, I was parked, improperly, but I paid the $250 towing fee in cash up front prior to calling the police and he still refused to give me insurance info. He got me, but that does not give him the right to tow me improperly. I hope his $250 was worth it! Also, I blame the gf bc I wanted to wait in the car, but sometimes you can't win.
