definitely good info, and more than we were provided with when we had to decide.

one further question tenblade -- what are the statiscal likelihoods of the diseases that can be treated? you don't have to be overly specific, but a general idea would be nice. we were lead to believe that these illnesses are fairly rare.

it definitely came to the point where we didn't answer the phone in the evenings b/c we were so tired of hearing from these people. it was one company in particular that hounded us the most. the others called at a much reduced frequency of probably only 1 or 2 times a month, and once told, "No." - they did stop immediately.

also, i talked to the wife last night. it wasn't $20/month / child (~ $500/yr for both), she seems to recall it was closer $1000/yr / child. again... a great deal of money for what we were lead to believe was a statistically low chance of occurance.
