i'm full japanese so i know fully how you feel. japanese people prioritize the in-office heirarchy over eating and breathing. so, the people that fit in the lower ranks just have to take any and all $hit spit at them from their higher-ups. tbh, though, japanese people are usually more strict on other japanese people, so if you're not japanese, there's a good chance you're actually getting spoiled in their eyes.

 

Thanks for your response dude, Im white as milk, but the VP of my company (he is old school Japanese) took a liking to me and demanded that I come to his department... It wasn't even a choice, they just told me what I was gonna be doing But I took it as a good opportunity.

He constantly tells me that he is spoiling me, and I have to say that he does help me out a lot.

Its just the way he executes it.. he is just real rough and doesn't have any emotion when doing it. Kind of like a robot.

My boss got pissed that I had to go pick my mom up at the airport yesterday and not finish what I was doing 100%, YET..

The thing is, I didnt say I want going to finish the work. I just told him that I will be back around 730 after the airport pickup (unpaid BTW cause of course were salary)

Guess what? I came back, and he had the project finished and I came back for no reason..

Then today he kept mentioning about the "unfinished project" and it was pissing me off, cause its not like I wasn't gonna finish it.. I just had to go get my mom.

Its so crazy how they put their work/ bosses before their own family kids dude. My boss didnt see his first son till he was 2 1/2 yrs old. Cause he was working in the US I could never do that!!
