Razzle-dazzle!
Damn! Just noticed those look like scratches on the band, but are actually fingerprints. There's not a single scratch on the entire watch. This watch has been worn about twice in its entire life of a few years. I agree that it looks "jewelry-ish" but I liked it. The face is scratch-resistant saphire crystal, the diamonds are real, albeit low-grade quality. The cost was almost $5000. Frankly, it was a waste of money because it hasn't been worn much at all. I wear my Movado daily because it goes with everything. For daily wear, it's hard to beat a nice and reliable Seiko or Movado because they are not super expensive.
My dad has a Seiko that's about 2 decades old and it's still as accurate as when new. He wears it everyday and it's all scratched up. Sometimes it's even been in the washing machine quite a few times (he forgets it in the pocket) and it'd still come out alive and kicking like nothing's ever happened.
