A buddy of mine used their billpay services and the money would be taken out of his account, but never show up at the various companies. So he'd then be out money PLUS have late fees and risk of service cancellation.

He contacted WF about it and "they are looking into it". Have been for about 6 months now.
My friend isnt confrontational enough. If it were me, I'd be on the phone every waking hour until they gave me my money back.

 

I love WF. I go in to the bank and they are all super friendly and some of the tellers are pretty cute. They are always having a good time and they meet my banking needs for personal & business.

 

I'm very confrontational, and I'm the guy who yells on the phone. Wells Fago doesn't give you what you want, thus, their customer service sucks balls.

 

Should they give you strippers, booze, & lambos?

I only ask them things within reason and what they're perfectly capable of doing. They would rather piss you off and keep your money than make you happy and keep your business.

 

That definitely sucks to hear but im sticking with this being an issue with your local bank. I have been to many a WF branch in numerous states and they are all overly friendly (and most of em have cute tellers)


I do have to agree with the not-free billpay, dunno wtf thats about. I dont use it though so I guess it doesnt really concern me.

I'm all for sticking it to large corporations who suck, but I have to say that this reason alone is not a good one to be pissed off at them. It's dated tomorrow. Cash it tomorrow. We all know they won't exactly be pulling money out of the check-writer's account immediately, but I guess they aren't willing to float it a day. I don't think they deserve to be given shit for that though.

Go deposit it at the machine if you want it to show up right away.

 

This incident is just the most recent in my five years of crappy service from them.

I don't want to deposit it in the ATM (that's what I normally do) because I want to close the account.
In order to close the account I have to have a 0.00 or positive balance.

Anyway. I guess I'll just go cash it at Bank of America since they always want to make customers happy, then I'll go to Wells Faggo and give them their money and close my account. I might cuss them out too as I'm leaving. Nothing like sticking it to the man while making a bitch cry in the process.
