Thank you Lord for the info. I'll tell her about this. This is exactly what she wants to do and she is good at it. Very talented. I will show her your post and she may get in touch with you if that's ok.
Thanks again.
You sound like me about six years ago when I was 22. I was going to college, not because I wanted to, but because I felt that I was suppose to. I switched from major to major because I had no passion for any of the ones I chose. The only thing that stayed constant was my hobby, which was cars. That's what I chose to "mess" with in my free time. Not because I had to , but because I wanted to.
Then at my friend's graduation at Loyola Marymount, Micheal Armstrong, the C.E.O. of AT&T, spoke about choosing a path based on your desires and expectations, and not anyone elses.
After that speech, I aborted my pusuit of Physical Therapy, and went on as a management trainee at America's Tire Company. I talk and "play" with cars all day now, and get paid for it. Very different from my other friends from college. I can assure you that I enjoy my job more than anyone of them.
Find your passion, and there lies your motivation. Do not settle for anything less. Good Luck !!!!
1. I write down all my goals on paper no matter how small it is. This way, when I did accomplish that goal, I could go and check it off.
2. Keep practicing doing what you do. For example, I'm in sales, so in order for me to do good at it, I go to seminars, read sales books, etc. Basically practice, practice, practice.
3. If you have someone in your life that makes you happy(like a girlfriend or wife), that motivates me to work harder and keeps me focused with what I want to accomplish in life.
