What "overpriced" items do you buy and...
I guess I am pretty frugal. I did buy an I-phone but I waited until the $200 discount. My nicest watch is a Tag Heuer Carrera, but most of the time I am wearing my Timex Ironman. My shirts/pants/jeans are $50 or less.
Actually the most "overpriced" thing I waisted money on was my GT3. I am cheap when it comes to everything else but my cars.

Michelin tires? I prefer Pilot Sports for longevity and overall performance but man, they're expensive! $255 each for the rears on my car and I'm typically replacing them every four to five months. I can buy Falken Azenis or Kumho MXs for half that price...
Other than that, I'm pretty careful with my money. I'm more inclined to spend lots on other people than myself.
When I buy things, though, I tend to get what I want. I've been looking at digital SLR cameras recently. I'd budgeted about $750 and realized that I can't quite get what I want so I'll probably just buy a much cheaper camera and wait until I can buy exactly what I want (at twice my budget).
So, I end up with nice stuff eventually but I don't make a habit of blowing money all the time. I'm more concerned about quality than I am trying to look like I have oodles of dosh and having the latest and greatest.
