Problem with a lot of these times (and I have owned a few of the cars mentioned) is that they don't go that fast.

Z3, Cobra ... etc.

The Z3 was topped out at 145. (2.9L)

If you wanna go fast hop on a superbike.

Well I have to guess since the speedometer stopped at 160 and we were still accellerating, but I would say 170- 175 around Riverside Raceway (show's you how old I am) in a 240Z with a 350 Chevy engine in it. I was riding, not driving.

About 135mph in my '01 Lightning - 4:30am on I-95 going to the Outer Banks in NC.

I want to believe this is real but, wouldn't the tree be even blurrier at 180?

I'm not that much of a genius with how much stuff blurs at speed, but the car was definately doing it.
