You can feel real speed with a bike...in a car at 150 feels like nothing (wind factors)...in a bike at 150, it's like inside a tornado...you literally hangs on to dear life.

260 km/h in a 1989 Mercedes 560 SEL on the Abu Dhabi-Dubai Highway (no traffic), racing a brand new (2001 at the time) E55 AMG which was actually a few klicks slower due slight differences with the restrictor settings! Rock solid, gorgeous and elegant car. Not me driving.

245 km/h in a Chev Impla SS on the way to Abu Dhabi airport (racing with a Volvo 850 turbo and a Saab 9000 turbo through traffic). Insasely stupid, will not repeat, I love speed but felt kindof sick when I got out of that car. Not me driving.

230 kh/h in a Maxima. Me driving.

190-200 km/h almost every day on my way home from work in my 206GTI flat out. The highway is very new, 3 lanes wide and usually nearly empty near Ras Al Khaimah where I currently live, and fences keep the camels off the road. And no radar

Feel wierd when some Cayenne or Lexus blows by you out of nowhere when you are already doing 190.

Fast AND safe is my motto

Going that fast is scary!

About a year ago I built a 1990 CRX up using a 1992 Integra GS-R as a parts car. 11:1 Compression, big cams, the whole works, as well as weight reduction. The 1992 GS-R transmission has the same gear ratio's as the Type-R's, so it got up there pretty quick.

CRX Speedo only goes to 120, I had it pinned one night on a highway, all alone on the road with nothing but concrete walls surrounding me. Man it felt fast! No powersteering either, I could feel every little thing in the road.

I refuse to go fast in my S on public roads, I've now had two friends that died in an S2k from doing so

140mph+ in my honda civic on the freeway, speedometer pegged over in the unknown territory - 11.0@138mph 1/4 miles.

145 mph on my CBR 600, sold it afterward.
