why do rich people want to keep making money
Amao you are so right. It comes in teachings of the family. My parents taught me good money managment, so I only buy what I can afford, earn if I want something nice. There is no perfect monetary system or social order. Each has its good and bad, fair and unfair. Is it fair that someone can afford a million dollar house? Is it fair that that same person has to earn 2 dollars for each one he brings home?
No, the U.S. doesn't need to educate people on personal finance. The people know, they obviously just don't care. Stealing my money to try and teach some idiot living pay check to pay check that he would be better off saving some money instead of buying a new iPhone and rims for his car is not the answer. The jackass knows, he'd just rather have the newest gadgets and project the image that he has money.
It's also a case of money making more money. I know quite a few rich people, and once they became financially free, they started investing their money in other businesses.
One guy owns more than a hundred hair salons and pizza joints. Another guy just bought twelve franchises for restaurants in the Southeast.
Money depreciates if it's just sitting around in a bank account, you know.
Taxing the rich does nothing but drive them out. Look at the UK in the '60s, when The Beatles were paying 95% income tax. The economy tanked. Where's the incentive to do anything if it's all going to be taken away from you?
Would you rather earn $5 an hour and keep $4, or earn $100 an hour and keep $5?

I think the real question should be why would a spoiled snot-nose kid have a nearly new S2000 while other kids have crappy old Civics or even have a car at all.
either that or why would you have a nicer car than some of the professionals I know who bust their ass days in and days out. I mean shouldn't they have a nicer car than you?
It would be a lot more fair if that S2000 was sold & the money given to orphanages.
Only then can this spoiled kid question how others' money should be spent.

The left assume the government behaves. They don't.
The right assumes the wealthy behave. They don't.
The poor assume the wealthy don't have to behave. That's not a good assumpiton.
The wealthy assume the poor know how to behave. That's not a good assumption.
Yes. We're F'd. Carry on.
