seriously i drive to calm down. For me there's something about hearing an engine rev that calms me.

it is simply the feeling that is generated while I am driving. Its not just the adrenline rush either, though that is nice. It is the feeling of perfect unison between man and machine; to have the car practically be an extension of the body; to take a turn on a familiar canyon as if i were running through the bend on foot. i usually drive just to think. a little time (or A LOT of time) is spent doing this each day.. its depends if i have a lot on my mind.
when i drive hard, i do that to clear my mind, i dont really think..i just do it.
