Off-topic Talk Where overpaid, underworked S2000 owners waste the worst part of their days before the drive home. This forum is for general chit chat and discussions not covered by the other off-topic forums.

Will the declining price of the S2k ruin s2ki.com?

All that has to happen is the creation of a members only area for most of the topics here.
Most of the kiddies won't pay for a membership.
There is always s2kca.

I don't think money alone determines when the car goes to the ricebois. The red-white-and-blue equivalent of riceboys are the rednecks on the american car boards. I saw plenty of ignorant turds who bought Lightnings for 15K-30K and posted on SVTPerformance.com, some of the most annoying kills stories and had pics of themselves in their sigs showing them flexing in all their mullet and sleeveless shirt glory. Certain cars attract certain crowds. The theory of about straight line power attracting a certain crowd is interesting and may hold some truth to it. I never thought of it like that. I also see making this site a paysite as a good alternative to keeping out the trash so long as the restriction is to replying and posting. I will still like to read forums here even after having traded the S.

Unless you own a 100k+ car and/or a multi-million dollar home, you are still the average person and makes you nowhere near "elite" status.
What in the hell is that supposed to mean and how does it tie in with this thread?

I like grapes and oranges.

I wouldn't worry about being elitist.. there are certainly some bottom-fedding mutherers on this site. Moreso these days, than 2 years ago when I joined. But as with anything on the net, you sift through the bullshit and gleen what you can from it.

Luckily, I live in an area with few (almost no) S2000s, so I haven't seen any "project" S2000s that have made me want to puke and sell my car.

Well, at least The Corner will always be a haven for scholarly debate.

Who says that exceltoexcel post a pull size picture of that avatar?

Welcome to the reason why I sold my car. The fact that Joey Pimples down the street just picked up his phat s2keezy and will fo sho put on some lit up shoes.....ugh...goodbye s2000.

It's unfortunate but the car is no longer for people in the know, it is now sadly the car that every Vinnie Boombatz in my neighborhood drives. It's become the new 5.0.
