The dreaded court date has come where I must defend myself against one monster speeding ticket.

IMHO--- call and RESCHEDULE the date... QUICK... you want to do this, esp. when the cop has time off!!! If you go when scheduled, he'll be there...and shit will hit the fan. OR talk to the prosecuter before hand and make a deal...

G'Luck and fight all the way to the end ... You have my support all the way even if you broke the traffic law, you're still a Saint on the board. Nevertheless, you should be commemorated for your efforts against your local government on some stupid traffic infringement.

 

Well, I guess I feel like I got screwed, they reduced the ticket to 40 over, so I lose 4 points and a fine of 280 bucks. This is not big deal, my insurance on the other hand. Man I hate the freaking court house

I might have wanted that happen to me then what happened to me yesterday when I went fishing with bait with my friend.

Maybe this will cheer you up.....

I was going fishing with a friend Long Beach so we first went to catch bait on some bridge were "crap" water flows under (this is where all the stingray's and anchovies and smelt swim around).
My friend said to fish around where he was cuz there was a lot of bait, so I went over there and when I casted my hook, it got caught on a rock on the side of the "river." I couldn't get it unhooked so I jumped over the fence to go down to the water and try to get it unhooked. I was going closer to my hook, trying to get it off whatever it was hooked up but next thing I know, I slipped on some algae or some slippery crap and was sliding into the water. Now I'm in the "crap" water in my full clothing and getting caught in a little current. I'm just like "oh shit, this sucks." I try to swim out but with my sweater and shoes that wasn't a good idea especially with the current. Then I slowly walk along the bottom of the "river" and finally make it onto the rocks where I can actually get out of the water.

I ruin a potentially good day of fishing and my friend is laughing at me soooo hard.

I think I took the longest shower in my life, in ANYBODY'S life

 

While I feel bad about your crappy day, I have to admit that made me feel alot better
There are so may jokes, I'm overloaded and can't even think of one

PS. My ticket was for doing 100 kph in a 50 kph zone. by dropping it to 40 it made a big difference ( not big enough ) to drop the points and fine.
and I think the avatar will resurface!

 

I forgot to say there were little stingrays EVERYWHERE by the rocks and the side of the river.
