work rant
So i work for a law firm, and one thing we do is bankruptcy. Well, guess who is the person who enters the data into the computer
<----- this person
What i REALLY hate is when people don't fill out thier entire bankruptcy packet, making my job 10x's more of a headache!
This packet i am working on right now is soooooo bare, i've only done 11% (says the program). Now, I try to call this dude, leave 3 messages on 3 different days and the guy for some reason hasn't returned my call. He's probably $600k in debt, from what he has filled out. There is still MORE he needs to give me too!!
If i had 600k in debt, i'd be mad if they didn't finish the packet that day.

In the circulation department, there have been people who send in subscription cards without names or addresses.
Go figure.
Go figure.
But back to the original question. I am curious how a lawfirm that works on bankruptcy cases expect to get paid. I mean you know the "customer" is way over his/her head in debt, so how do the lawyers expect to collect their money?

Anyhow, they have to pay for thier BK up front. Cash/Check only, and with check, it has to clear before we will take on your case.
