Default Yet...Another s2k accident (me)

Unfortunately, I had an encounter with a divider wall last night. I had just got off work a took a right turn at a green light 20mph. The tail came loose and I corrected but in my haste I think I hit the breaks, which is why I landed smack dab into the wall. Both airbags where deployed and radiator fluid everywhere. The hood does not line up with both fenders...body damage?, I pretty sure I have allstate insurance. What can I expect in terms of my insurace going up, I'm 22 with a previous clean record. I also got a ticket for careless driving. Yeah, I know before you start flaming, I know it was completely my fault, and I feel pretty shitty. I am just glad I didn't hurt anyone. Although, since the accident their is a buzz in my right ear. I've done research and it's probably tinnidus, I'm pretty sure the noise and impact of the airbag has done some damage to my ear, but I hope it's not permanate. Anyone experience this before? We'll enough ranting, I'm gonna go cry.

Wow, I really feel bad for you. All you can expect from your isurance company is for your rate to you up a little. They should cover it if it was an accident. You should get that ear checked out.

Whoa! hope you are alright!!!
Kinda creepy but I have a picture of my S2K (yours now) on a table, and it just felt down to the floor with no reason.
Good luck with everything.

CanIplay-

If your head was turned, and the airbag hit you directly on the ear, it may account for the tinnitus, but if you were facing forward when the airbag hit you, it could still account for the tinnitus, but is something you should probably have checked out. Sometimes symptoms of head trauma are not apparent for days, or even weeks, but it is not good to delay the treatment. If the tinnitus doesn't go away after 48 hours, I would have it checked out.

Your head is way more important than your car. First things first.

Then get that beautiful car fixed!!

Good luck.

Thanks for you support guys. I feel pretty down, my first accident in 5 years.. I am new to rear wheel drive and just went too fast without enough experience and the Car Control ME. I thankful that I'm in good shape, except for the buzzing ear, but the doc said I didn't rupture anything and it should go away in a few days. I had my seat belt on and the airbag did not actually hit me in the head/face, but I guess their was so much force to cause some trauma/shock the ear. I'll keep you guys posted I will take pics of the car on Monday. Would insurance cover my car is my rims where damaged from the accident? Also, If I added an oem spoiler, will they include that too. Am just wondering if they are going to fix is like I had it or only BUY stock parts?

Mark, I'm sorry I did not take great care of our baby! I will be taking her to the best honda body shop in Vegas and hopefully she will recover and be better than new!
