Powder Coating Systems Inc.
http://www.go2pcsi.com/

Their site looks half ass, but the shop and quality/service is second to none. Tell him I sent ya and he *might* give you a little better pricing. I've used him for several parts now, all exeeding my expectations.

Thanx for the info WyattH. I also got some info on Portland Powder Coating. Their website is pretty nice(PortlandPowder.com). Their pricing is as follows:
The stripping is $35 each wheel, 1 coat of steel grey powder $35 each wheel, if you would like a clear coat over the steel grey add $25 each wheel.

With your bump for Powder Coating Systems I think I will try them out.

Thanx again for the info,

Brandon

Pricing is similar. I am not sure what that $85/wheel includes (as per your breakdown). But I had mine in Black Chrome (gunmetal) for 2 years. The car was NOT garaged when I had those wheels (it is now), and was a daily driver - never peeled, chipped, cracked, faded, etc... It maintained it's glossy smooth finish until I sold the wheels to IWANTS2000 in Portland.

I am taking my Prodrive GC07s to him next weekend. Gloss Black most likely will be the color this time 'round.

Does any one have wider than stock tires on the stock 17's from the 04'&up S. I am wondering how wide I can go and if I should go wider.

Yeah, I do not want to change out the whole headlight. I just want to upgrade bulbs and possibly an eyelid.
A friend of mine with a berlina s2k had the eyelids and at night the light from the HID's seeps right through where the eyelid meets the headlight. He had them on less than a month and took them off because of that. I wouldn't recommend eyelids unless you plan on sealing that with something, I dont know what you'd use for that though.

Another friend with a 350z has 8k bulbs I believe, I think they look pretty good. Very purpleish though, whether you consider that to be a bad or a good thing.

Redmond eh? I am in Bend. You should take your car out to the autocross, it's at the fairgrounds next to the airport... first event of the season is April 22-23 I believe. PM me if you woud like more info.

Ok, next stupid question. Is it a HUGE pain in the ass to clear out the headlights(get rid of the orange reflect). I would like to do it if is not that hard. Or is there someone who will do it for me? Also, what about the carbon fiber inserts for the headlights?

Thanks for helping me out,

Just trying to learn what I can get done on my S!!!

I don't remember where I saw them now, but I seen a picture of a carbon fiber insert to replace the inner housing on the headlights.
