Wow! Just wow! The best thing is that you were unhurt even if you witnessed it from two feet away, that's just insane. Two freaking feet away? crazy! And what is it with people hitting your car the last two weeks? Was it a week or so that someone backed into it ? and now this? Hopefully the outcome of the insurance works out in your favor . Keep us updated

Just got home and decided to do a quick read before bed, and holy crap!!!

Hiep, no worries about the bumper, I'm just glad you are ok!

I hope everything works out for you with your insurance company. Give me a call if you want to talk, I've had my shares of dealings with the insurance company from accidents, as well as some lawyers that is great at dealing with these type of uninsured cases.

Hiep, sorry to hear about the accident. That really sux! Like everyone else has said, the best thing about this is that you were not injured, physically anyway.

From the sound of the amount of damage, my guess is going to be that it will be totaled out, which sux on its own. I guarantee that the driver was not obeying any traffic laws when she hit you. I remember getting plowed into, the guy was going 40 and hit me while my wife and I were waiting to turn left. That was not a pleasant feeling (wife is still dealing with pain from it and it happened nearly 3 years ago).

As painful as the loss of the S is, remember it is just a piece of metal that can be replaced. You, on the otherhand, are not as easy to replace. Be thankful that you can tell this story to us all and remember we will always be there to support you.

WOW, I am just glad you are ok, as stated above the car is metal and can be repaired / replaced. You are not as easy to replace.

Geez, do I ever get a break from this dude whom I so affectionally call my boyfriend?

And yes, I agree with the others, metal can be replaced. Please keep us posted. We're all here for you!

I can't even imagine what I'd be like if that happened. I'm sorry to hear about that! Any new word on what insurance said?

thanks everyone

so at least one positive update today, i was in contact with the DMV, and looks like i wont have to file an accident report. being that i wasnt actually driving the car regardless of the damage to my car. this prevents future inquires on my insurance showing i was in an accident regardless if it was my fault or not.

2nd update, this should be a good sign i think..

i was finally able to get ahold of the farmers claims office. (when the police searched her vehicle they were able to retrieve an insurance card, though it was expired, it gave me hope that maybe the owner of the vehicle had insurance but never received a new card, the driver however was not insured) well according to farmers, there IS a claim over the weekend under the expired policy number, it doesnt mean it equates to anything yet, but ill take that as a good sign. im suppose to be receive a call back from the person handling the investigation.
