the part out would be for just my after market parts. the repairs is only about 45% of the book value so sadly i will have to sell the car on my own.
We could do a tranny swap - you would then have a very rare AP2 with AP1 tranny - I don't think anyone has that - wonder why?????

That theory is based on the fact that since AP1 tranny's 1-4th gear is longer, so it takes advantage of the extra torque in AP2 2.2L, and lets the driver keep it in gear a lil longer with the 8K red line. Where as AP1 with less torque we can use the gearing advantage in the AP2 tranny.

the front office and specifically the guy handling my car at precision doesnt return calls and is terrible communicating anything as far as the progress on my car. (ie he hasnt attempted to call me once). they finally were able to get someone on the phone with me, and though he didnt sound like he knew what he was talking about, he said it could be done as soon as tues, that was assuming that the new coils came in. which could delay the process.

You go to pick it up and find it's been repainted purple....and with none of the damage fixed.

You will run into this type of treatment at most shops, even the better ones.

Just remember that you have every right to know what is going on with your car and also to look at it even if it is not done yet.

DO NOT be afraid to be "annoying" and call them everyday if you want to. I do I also like to drop in un-announced and ask to see the car how it sits at that time. Any reputable shop will have no problem walking you back to the shop to see what is going on
