they were able to contact the owner of the car, he did put in a statement that he granted her authority to be driving the car, so farmers stepped in and wrote me a check.

as far as what i plan to do with the car itself is up in the air.. probably a part out thread soon to come.
I smell a widebody cookin'

I am glad to hear you at least got some money from their insurance company. I hope it all works out for you

Of course you know that if there is anything any of us can do to help let us know

That is good to hear that they had stepped up and paid for the damages, well, knock on wood for the dude in jail that still had insurance on his car. Did you also send farmers the tow and rental bill that came out of your own pocket? In order to total a car out the loss has to be around 70% or more of the value of the car so assuming the car is worth $20k, $8,900 is a ways to go. Whether you keep the S or buy a different car, make sure you call up esurance and add the uninsured motorist property damage for the future .

So if another BB bites the dust, that could only mean 2 or 3 more will appear if Hue's theory is correct.

BB IS the new silver!!

the part out would be for just my after market parts. the repairs is only about 45% of the book value so sadly i will have to sell the car on my own.

I am glad to hear they are paying you for the damages without a fight. Good luck Hiep on whatever you plan to get next, hopefully another S

Also do you have full coil-overs or just springs? Depending on which I maybe interested when the time comes.
