Oil Capacity

From what I've read, Royal Purple is not recommended for our S2000's.

Lots of reading, but very worthwhile.

I haven't been a fan of Royal Purple ever since one of my customers used it on a motor, and let the car sit for a month. We pulled the pan on the motor, and there was a thick sludge settled on the bottom that was a PAIN to get out... took like 6 cans of brake cleaner to clean the pan, and even then there was still some sort of residue on it. I don't know what the gunk was, but we switched to Valvoline VR1 on that motor, and thats what i'll be swapping to on my motor here shortly when i do the next oil change.
Currently i'm still running Dino-oil... Rotella-T 15w30
As for how i fill my oil... after a change i fill to the fill line (don't forget to fill the oil filter with a bit of oil as well), then unplug the injectors, and crank it a few cranks at a time until the oil pressure light goes out... then, i pull the stick, check it, and fill up whatever is needed. Then, plug injectors back in, and fire the car up.
