Arrow Emission Test Failed...

So I'm starting to think this car is actually bad luck...

Facing another problem already.

Went to get an emission test yesterday and found out that failed.

Here are the codes it came up with

P0133 - O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response Bank 1 Sensor 1
P0140 - Secondary Air Injector System
P0411 - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2

I'm so annoyed now, S2000 are suppose to pass emissions test with no problem.

I have no idea what the previous owner did to the car.

There are no mods to the engine and everything is stock, including the exhaust.

Not trying to pay a shop $500 or more to fix this problem either.

I'm not a professional mechanic or anything but could anyone help me figure out what exactly I need or need to replace and where?

Or is there anyone that knows any hook ups to get around this emissions test?

I just need to pass this test so I can get this title under my name...

Thanks

That is strange. Was the CEL on when you brought it in for testing?

IIRC all you have to do is plug in and not throw a code and you will pass.

And they did plug in but still brought up the codes

sounds like those might be stored codes that are old. If you have access to a scan tool or hav a friend that does, read the obd2 codes & write em down, clear em, drive for like a week and re-scan. if they dont come back they might have just been old ones. if they come back then you know you actually have something going on.

Yeah I'll try that, seems like a good plan.

A friend of my friend can get my car registered but wants $200 bucks...

Hopefully the codes are old ones..

Autozone and oreillys should be able to read and clear them too for free.

Yeah, I know they check codes for free but I don't know about clearing them. I'll try that though and if not; I'll come by to see you mweaver if everything else fails

MAYBE IT WASNT FULLY WARMED UP WHEN YOU BROUGHT IT DOWN. SOMETIMES THEY WILL FAIL YOU IF YOU EMISSIONS SYSTEM ISNT PROPERLY WARMED UP WHEN YOU GET TESTED BECAUSE THE SYSTEM IS RUNNING RICH OR APPEARS SLOW TO RESPOND.
