exporting car problem
- 2 weeks ago i purchased a 01 red honda s2000 from Seattle WA
- read all the guides on importing, did my best to follow step by step how to import a car from the united states
- got it through boarder, paid for interm insurance, paid for riv
- went to cdn tire to have the vehicle passed inspection
i have all the paperwork done correctly however there is a sticker on my driver side panel missing
its the sticker that states the vehicle passes all safety in the us motor vehicle regulations
what happen was i think the owner, or the owner before him removed the sticker when he had the door jam repainted
i've made two trips to Honda in the USA with no help
i'm not sure where to go from here
anyone have any ideas?

i am not 100% sure but don't you have to go to state patrol and get that checked again?
for example when people get in an accident (not minor accident) they have to get inspected by state patrol and they usually get a sticker on door jam which indicated it's been inspected by WA state patrol and passed.
i have never done it but i have seen those stickers. might wanna look it up.

Just a wild guess. This has to happen every once in a while.
Perhaps call the Washington State Department of Licensing for guidance. Maybe they have some ideas on how to resolve the issue.
