That sucks but glad to hear you're ok. I guess the detail is postponed....I can't buff that out :-( Get your thumb checked out.

^ haha yep, detail is gonna have to wait

Thanks for the love and input guys!

Got the thumb checked out. Nothing is broken, just really severe swelling. It's not as bad as it was yesterday; I had trouble just reaching into my pockets or using my phone! I woke up with minor back pain though, so I'll probably get that looked at this week.

The brake lights were on after the crash and are still on. Anyone know if that's a safety precaution post-accident, or is something screwed up? I also forgot to mention that I couldn't open the driver's side door initially. Top down Dukes of Hazard egress ftw. I can open it now but it chips paint on both the fender and the door.

The perpetrator's husband showed up at the scene yesterday and made a claim on the spot. I'm hoping that I get a call tomorrow to get this worked out ASAP. I already have a few shops in mind for estimating, so hopefully things work out in my favor.

Sucks dood, hope everything works out for you. The damage doesn't look too bad but there might be some frame damage if your top and door are having problems. Make sure you take it to a good body shop.

Wow. So sorry to see this. I hope the process goes smoothly. It's always a PITA working with insurance.

Want to buy a Miata? I've got spares!

In all srsness, glad you're OK. Don't forget to pull off your expensive wheels before the car gets appraised.
