brake lite on dash

Default brake lite on dash

2001 s-2000---7000 miles ,the brake warning lite comes on -stays on for a while and goes out- fluids good for level, emergency brake off , any solution?

Try topping up the brake fluid level. Under braking, it can slosh up to the front and the light will come on for a while.

low pad level creating excessive piston distance under hard breaking?

pads are worn 10 % -theres no logic as to why its on--as i said level is above the add mark, ?

There is "above the add mark" and "right up to the top of the fill mark". Tracking my car with the fluid below that top line got me some brake warning lights.
