WInter Driving AP1
Thanks for the input guys! I'm coming from a E46 M3 so I think i'll be fine... Ive driven my M3 through Feb. What kinda winter tires are you guys running? I have Hankook W300 right now on my Bimmer but w\o traction control on the S I'm thinking I should go with something like the X-Ice... any recommendations for winter tires?
We run a whole variety of snow tires in Prairie Redliners. Personally, my last tires were a combination of Goodrich Winter Slalom on the front and Blizzak MZ-01 on the rear. I now have Michelin Pilot Alpins.
I also see Blizzak LM-22, Kumho snows of different models. It all depends on what the owner wants - ultimate snow bite or dry road high speed handling.

Driving on streets/avenues is not so bad after you get use to it, but I have to take the Whitemud (it's like a freeway) every morning and it can get a bit sketchy when the roads are bad and you're travelling at around 80km/hr.
i drive a grand cherokee... im more scared to drive that during winter because of it flipping over... it just doesnt feel safe
but driving the s2000 is still stressful for me... but it is definitly making me a better winter driver
