Default Powder Coating Valve Cover

Should i replace the seals, or should i take them off, powder coat, then put the old ones back on? i had the misfire issue a few months back so all my seals are relatively new. I was wondering if i can just pull all the seals off, then just paint it and stick the ones i had back on. If not, which am i buying from majestic? (i see the head cover gasket set for 20$) thanks

The valve cover gasket you can remove and then reuse. The spark plug tube seals you gotta remove and replace when powder coating the valve cover.

The VC gasket is reusable as long as you don't see any tears or rips in it. However like Moddiction posted above you will need new spark plug gaskets...since you will most likely damage the ones on the VC when removing them.

powder coated my valve cover myself and reruse all the gaskets. no leaks. if you don't tear the spark plug gaskets ,you can use them.
