Valve cover gasket
So I just got a new Spoon valve cover in, and with it a new valve cover gasket from Honda (Model # 12040-PCX-305). According to the sales guy, the valve cover gasket was supposed to come with a new grommet for the PCV valve or something. Instead, I have the valve cover gasket plus five small rubber gaskets with metal on the other side of them. What are these little gaskets for?
P.S. -- if they're for the spark plugs, should I use them? I recently had my 45k mile service done at another dealership, and they said that there was a service bulletin on the spark plug gaskets (they're the wrong size, which sometimes allows the plug to move too far away from the cylinder, and you throw a misfire code). My car was throwing the code, so they put the new gaskets in and it solved the problem.
