Default Valve cover gasket set incomplete?

I just received a valve cover gasket set I ordered, and it consists of the valve cover gasket itself, and five washer/gasket pieces.
I was under the impression it should also have 4 spark plugs hole gaskets. Am I missing them, or do they not exist? (I haven't had the valve cover off of the S before, so I'm not sure).

No, there are part of a valve cover when you order it. You have to order them seperately. HardTopGuy has these in-stock

No, you have to call. I buy these all the time from him, so he tries to keep them in-stock for me. If he does not, get a price from him and I will sell you a set.

IMO you don't need to change the spark plug gaskets unless they're ripped or damaged. They're made of a harder material than the softer valve cover gasket itself. You should be fine.

I agree. Several members have adjusted their valves a couple of times w/o changing any of the gaskets. I would feel better, however, knowing that once I open things up, I have everything to put it back together in case of a "worst case scenario."

FYI

These gaskets are a PIA to install. You have to have the proper tool to get them seated properly. Since we do core exchanges on valve covers, I had to learn this the hard way. I had my machine shop cut me a custom tool just to reinstall these without tearing them.

So if all you are doing is a valve adjustment, there is no need to replace any of the valve cover gaskets. Even the valve cover gasket it self is think rubber and can be reused several times. This is by Honda's design (IMHO)
