Ran over parking lot stopper - visible hood damage, is it fixable?
Hi Guys,
New S owner here. I was in a parking lot yesterday when I ran over a stopper like one of these, meaning I went completely over it with the front wheels after driving too deep into the parking space. With this stopper in between my front and rear wheels, I went into reverse to get back over. After inspecting the front, I found that the hood is now in a permanently open state and will not close flush. There is about an inch of clearance between the hood and the bumper. There are no mechanical problems.
I've included pictures of the hood as well as latch. Does anyone have any idea what happened or is it fixable? Thanks!

Your front end is messed up for sure. I bet the fenders are tweeked, brackets holding the bumper are tweeked and more.
Your front bumper has been painted once before so you probably can't use the bolt markings are hits to what is tweeked.
Good luck

Lol I did this before, same thing happened. It just pushed the radiator bracket up. I took the radiator out and just pushed the bracket back down. You're lucky that you're not lowered
