Default Rust - what to do?

Hi folks,

Appreciate any guidance on best way to treat / sand / spray the below rust.
First pic is on the lower front wheel arch / sill as a result of stone chips.
Second picture is a pin hole on the door which has spread a bit.

Is this a body shop job or could it be patched DIY?
p.s. its the Platinum white pearl paint...

Thanks!

Stone chip rust

Pin hole, spread wider on door

that's easy. Get an OEM paint pen. remove the inner fender partially to expose the area. Sand it down to bare metal. Clean. Self etch prime. lightly sand. regular primer. lightly sand. OEM paint.

^ I agree, easy fix. After the repair you can top coat it with rubberized rockerguard to protect from further stone damage, tape it off and roll it on, or spray it.

I love that stuff- after the paint cures for a few days, I cut some 3M PPF to protect the stone chip prone area behind the front wheel.

^ Yeah one more great idea. I also had the carbon fiber mudflaps, even the home-made rubber ones are simple enough and effective. Lots of options for sure.

I had a carbon fiber fab company make some rock flaps for the S2000 front and rear fenders. Look for www.oldskoolfab.com and contact Randy if you are interested in a set. He will hook you up.
