Help! Self Turning Steering Wheel
Hi Yall I am having a issue with my MY00 that I cant seem to figure out what is exactly causing my car steering wheel to turning right on its own. Whether I give it gas or not when I let go the steering wheel while the car is in motion it turns right automatically. It happened after I hit a pothole. I thought it was the alignment that got whacked out of place so I got an alignment, but it didn't fix the issue. I checked tire pressures, tire direction, suspension, and steering rack but there is no damage noticeable. Did anyone experience this same issue. I tried searching but wasn't able to find anything helpful. Thanks in advance for any help.

Search for the steering sensor calibration relearn procedure. Do that and your issue should go away.
The other possibility is the sensor is dirty, and searching for diy to clean and relube, the the relearn would fix it.
Try just the relearn first. I bet that cures it.

I just tried the relearn but it didnt help. Does anyone know how a damaged eps rack would be like?
I am begining to think I might have damaged the eps motor or bent something. Or a lower control arm its hard to tell because I am not able to see any physical evidence of damage.

Physically damaged suspension components (control arms, etc) wouldn't cause wheel to turn by itself. Only a confused eps would do that.
Its an eps sensor issue. If relearn doesn't cure it, find the diy to clean and lube eps sensor, and relearn again. If that doesn't do it, replace eps sensor, and relearn again.
Actually, come to think of it, I seem to recall people mentioning they had to do the relearn several times before it finally worked, so first off just try it a few more times.
