I’m sure there are more, but those are the two that immediately come to mind.

The Penskes are going to be one of the best if your looking for USA only. But for the price your gonna pay for the base setup, its super hard to beat the Ohlins and many people on here will agree. I was going to shoot for the Penskes because of how close they are to me for rebuilding them but the reviews on the Ohlins time and time again and the price point its a no brainer.

I hate to give references to "friend experiences" but regarding AMR Engineering, my brother switched from 12/10 Ohlins to similar AMR's and said he immediately noticed how much better they were. Hes been on PSS9's, HKS SP's then the Ohlins. Swears by the AMR's now. I plan on switching to them based on his experience.

I remember hearing some negatives about AMR a few years back and went and did a search, found these threads: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-br...eering-821406/ https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-br...overs-1089195/

Maybe they have changed things since then, but it sure doesn't sound like a company or product I want to support.

Urge Designs can set you up with Ohlins DFVs, or TTXs that are as "Made in America" as the Fortune Autos (assembled in Sonoma California by Performance Shock, Inc)

A JRZ or Penske is really not that far off in price from the Ohlins DFV if you go through one of the companies that installs their own valving / spring rate / proper size rear cup. I am biased as I run Penskes, so that's all I will say.

I did a lot of research on the brand so Im aware of the BS surrounding it from years ago. The owner reached out to my brother, told him to give his coilovers a try no strings attached, he did and now swears by them. I asked my brother to ask him why all the internet drama and it seems like hes not a "internet" type person and seems to not know or like to communicate over boards and forums. Also, who can keep a mature level head when dealing with these f'n honda kids lol jk. Anyway, I dont want to stir the pot and Im not here to sell anything. Just the experience with AMR from someone Id trust to put parts on my car and that list contains 2 people. Regardless of the negative things said on the internet, if a product works, it works. Ive also heard good things about the RSG Feals suspension floating around the internet. Thats got my curiosity too.

Well if you do end up going down the AMR route, hopefully you'll post an unbiased review of their performance. I am currently using Bilstein PSS9's with 10k/9k Swift springs, and while they are decent on the track, I will be in the market for something more track focused in the not too distant future.

Will do. Ill see if I can get him to do a review against his Ohlins too.
