What about the CR pad...is the CR pad the same size and/or composition as the regular OEM pad?

Yup, that's precisely my experience.
HPS were the absolute worst pads I've experienced. less bite and softer pedal than OEM on the street, and at the track? Totally unusable! I don't understand why they market such a total P.O.S. pad.

HP+, on the other hand, have served me very very well. Most initial bite and highest c.f. I've experienced, including XP8 and XP10's. I've never had any problems with HP+ pads at the track over ~20 minute sessions. I just got a set for the 240Z, which could really use a LOT more initial bite and c.f. Big cam and 3x2 45mm carbs (i.e., little to no vac assist), tiny rotors, postage-stamp size pads, my scrawny leg just can't mash the damn pedal hard enough.

StopTech Street Performance. No need to bed because they come scorched (like factory pads on a new car). I will put these on my car when it is time to replace the pads.

FWIW, my friend is an exec with the company - full disclosure.

Pagid...is what the euros run for good reason.

I use the Carbotech street and HDPE and I really can't stand them. They don't have real track ability, although they are better in the cold for me than most people for some reason. But after 1 day they dust so bad it is unreal. The noise factor was really bad initially even after they were bedded properly, and they have the pad crumble and grind.

Back to stockers for street (stock is a euro brand jurid).
