if the OP is still confused, lets put this in easier terms

stock height = man standing straight up
lowered = athlete standing with feet at shoulder length apart and knees slightly bent and at the ready to run/jump
slammed/hella flush = chinaman squatting with his butt resting on his heels.

Sorry for reviving an old thread, but it shows i use the search button.
You CAN be hellaflush and have your car handle well, you jusr need to countet act the suspension geometry. I know a guy that has an s2k that is lip low, and like -6 camber i think, and it handles slightly better handling than my friends stock s2k. Stiffer spring rate, bigger tires in the rear, and you should be straight.

Maybe your friend with the stock ap1 needs to figure out what is wrong with his car. Maybe new oem shocks and a decent set of tires. I drove a stock ap1 a few weeks ago, and because of the tire setup, I could out drive it in the corners with my double cab tacoma on BFG all terrains. And when I say out drive, I mean an easy 10-15 mph.
Does this mean a double cab Tacoma is more "functional" in the corners than a stock ap1? No, because once he changed the tires out, the car was back to handling like a stock s2000. Due to the mismatched tires on the car when he bought it, the car was unpredictable and unstable.

Ok, so the guy said he wont make an account, but he gave me some info.
-3 camber in the front, -6 camber in that rear. I forgot what brand of coilovers he said he had, but from what he told be, their meant for a racing setup, and he has them at a higher stiff rate. Better tires to increase grip, with minimal tire stretch. ,And Something about tension rods. He said that when he first started it did handle differently, but after everything he did it was put back in wack. i havent gone on the highway with it, but from what he says, its just as normal as before, and he still drag races with it.
