'04 Tweeter Mount Size & Alpine 9833 X-over
Anyone know the dimensions of the '04 tweeter spot? I'd like to keep the stock grille too.
Also, is the internal crossover of the Alpine 9833 able to split frequencies for tweeters, 6 1/2 mids, and a sub at the same time? Yeah, I'll need a 4 (5 w/sub) - channel amp, but I'll avoid an external x-over.
Yes, I know there are a ton of good component sets out there with crossovers, but I want to pick my individual drivers.
Thanks,
- John

I don't know the answer to your first question cuz I have a MY2000.
Yes, the 9833 allows "three-way" sub/mid/high crossover selection, or you can run it as two-way with sub/high X 2 crossovers. (High X 2 means you can run separate crossovers for front and rear speakers in two-way mode).
Owners' manuals are available on Alpine's site for all products, in case yours hasn't arrived yet and you want to get a head start on the docs.
Of course real men never read manuals...
