Default 10 in. sub for the trunk

Members, I need help.
went to Good Guys today to try and get some info on stereo eq. for the S2000. The guy told me no need to put a sub in the truck because you wont hear it because you have a convertible. Anyone have any type of sub in there truck already let me know if you can hear the base while driving, top down and up.

Thanks,
SD1S2K

Hey SD1S2K,
I've done a great deal of research and read serveral posts as far back as 2001. Basically, the concensus is a subwoofer greatly improves overall sound. The trick is to retain trunk space via custom box. Lucid Automotive has a custom sub solution. http://www.lucidautomotive.com/sub/ JL Audio Stealthbox is popular 10" box for the S2000. WLaurent has a 8" woofer with a unique install.

I'm in the process of getting a sub. I'll let you know how it turns out.

You've been here for a week and a half and when two members get confused by something you said, you automatically assume *we're* the ones who have no idea what we're talking about?

Well damn, if car audio is so second nature to you that you can explain it in such condescending terms, I guess you don't really need anyone's help.
Isn't this getting old?
