12 volt power turn on lead

If you're going to pull the head unit out you could just use the Accessory power going to the head unit. I think that's the same as what DJ Qube said.

I wouldn't try using the antenna power-on, because that wire might not get power when the head unit is playing a CD.

interesting, i have never encountered a f??king powered antenna b4 and i have been wondering why i have zero am reception since putting in my hu As they say live and learn!
