power turn on - mulitamp

Default power turn on - mulitamp

I have an alpine 9815 which has a turn on lead out but for a multi-amp install can it be split to the two amps - if not - from where do I get a power turn on lead to the two amps.

you shouldbe fine using the one output for turning on both amps. its a 500mA output but ive ran 3 at a time with no issues.

if you are concerned you can use a relay . run the blue turn-on to terminal 85, ground 86, constant battery (fused at about 3 or 5 amps) for 87 and run terminal 30 to the 2 amp turn on inputs.

Just split the wire in two bro, youll be fine.

Or if you're mounting the two amps side by side, you could just connect the head unit's turn on lead to one amp and then use a jumper wire from that one to the 2nd amp. I've done this myself and it works fine.
