You're not going to be able to fit 2 12"s in the trunkwell. There's just not enclosure volume available to really make it worth your while.

I mean, you could go with some crap 12's that don't require much space - but they won't take much power.

You're better off going with something like a JL W6 or SI Mag V4. Personally, I love my Mag (have 2 going into my truck build) - 500-1000W capable, 5.5" mounting depth, 1 cu ft enclosure requirement. I'm only running 500W to mine and that's enough to make my hair move if I crank the volume. The W6 requires 1.3cu ft of volume, has an 8" mounting depth, can only handle 500W and is 2x the price of the Mag ($250 shipped vs $500).

You won't be able to use your trunk for storage anymore, and you will need something custom if you want it to not look terrible.

When I first got my S, I cut up an old 2 12" box that I had, and sound quality was terrible...

If you get 2 10"s I'm sure that'd be enough for you...

i have 2 JLW3 that i had in my 4runner. wish i could use that box but its about the size of the cabin of the s2k haha

dont get me wrong, i love the way the single sub looks in the s2k. i just dont want to regret paying for the single box and not having enough thump

Trust me. With a Mag, you won't regret going with a single. Like I said, I run half it's rated power and it's more than enough to move my hair

Sell your W3's, with the proceeds buy a Mag. You won't regret it.

you can build the box in the tool well for 2 12's no problem, or do one 12 in each corner of ther trunk, you just have not found the correct installer who knows what they are doing.

Mag or ID max or number of other high powered 12" subs will be plenty
