Hey all, I've been trying to figure out what the best key to get for my 2005 s2k. Is 35111-S2A-306 the only option? I'm trying to get an actual Honda key rather than some $10 blank, but it seems like they are hard to come by. Any suggestions?

 

There's a guy on FB who cuts and reprograms the s2k key onto a newer flip key fob. A bunch have used him and I haven't read about any complaints. He posted a couple of weeks ago and it looks like he has a new blank key design (similar to oem). You might want to search on fb.

 

His name is Loc Vu. I don't know the gentleman nor have I done business with him. Unless he is local to you, I think you will need to send him one of your actual keys. I was leery of doing this myself, but may elect to do so in the near future. He has a good following on Facebook and I have never read any complaints about him.
