I have a 2005 silverstone/red. I'm planning to remove the stock HU and replace it with a Sony HU. I have a question for you and hopefully you (or anyone reading this thread) can give me the answer. I was trying to remove the stock HU, i got the 20 pin radio wiring harness (light blue) and another white s like shaped plug out (btw, i believe that's the factory connector in case if you install a CD changer... i think the other end of the white connector is probably pre-wiring to the back of the trunk for future factory CD changer installation.), but i have no idea on how to remove the radio antenna from the stock HU. I unscrew a tiny screw right at the top of the radio antenna connector and hope it will come lose.... but it doesn't work.

Could you let me know how did you unplug the radio antenna from the stock HU.

 

Umm, mine was tough to get out, but you pull straight out. Like pulling a cork out of a wine bottle.
